How to Read an Elster V100 Meter?

To read an Elster V100 water meter you simply read from left to right. Any tumbler with black text is in Kilolitres and any tumbler that is red with white text is in litres.

Would read as 75 Kilolitres and 343 Litres

If the Tumblr has not fully rotated, just round it back to the previous number.

Would Read as 74 Kilolitres and 996 Litres

Some Elster V100 water meters may have a different tumbler configuration.
The same rules apply. Black = Kilolitres and Red = Litres
